I was wondering if Windows 10 Enterprise has telemetry, since I have seen my computer trying to make a request to "v This is the web interface logs, this is not supposed to happen, as I have Windows 10 Enterprise build Now the reason as to why I'm making this post is because I hate telemetry, I've manually searched onto my Windows installation and searched through any telemetry related.
Windows still works fine, but this is not supposed to happen, as this is the Windows 10 Enterprise edition, If Enterprise had telemetry I would move onto Linux, since this is clearly anti-privacy. For some other reason my DNS server keeps changing every 5 minutes, no idea why this happens, but I hate the fact that I have to change my DNS settings every 5 minutes.
Was this reply helpful? Yes No. Sorry this didn't help. I fixed the issue with the Telemetry data on Windows, but Microsoft Edge is still trying to send data to "web. Try adding the below lines at the end in the hosts file and see if it works. So I have deep enough Windows knowledge and you may trust me. It's a pleasure for me to help others and I'll do all my best to help you. You are using corporate Windows version so please ask a help from your company system administrator.
What an utterly useless answer, answers like this is the reason Microsoft support forums are the laughing stock of the internet. If he wanted help from his company system administrator, he would have asked them, not answers. Also, if you actually put a little bit of thought into your post, you would see that the user is posting information from the administrator panel of Pi-Hole, which is a DNS "server" that is meant to domains.
Also another useless answer. Just a heads up, apparently Microsoft selectively ignores the hosts file. This is no longer a safe method to block telemetry and is best done via running your own DNS resolver. Threats include any threat of suicide, violence, or harm to another.
